Thanks to all the loyal attendees at Friends of Port Dover last evening, we were able to award $2700 to Purrfect Companions to help with the good work they perform every day with all those sweet, homeless kittens and cats out there.
Carla Matos, third from the left, gave a stirring presentation on behalf of Purrfect Companions. Trustees of Port Dover Foundation were there to present the cheque.
Light Up For Hospice

The Port Dover Foundation contributed $4000 to the Light Up For Hospice campaign to assist in their efforts to raise awareness of the need for hospice care and bereavement programming in Norfolk Haldimand.
Murder Mystery Night
“Diamonds, Death and Second Chances”, November 4th, 2024, was full of 1960’s tie-dye and glam, mystery and laughs.
Many thanks to all those attended and those who generously donated and bid on auction items. The evening was a great success.
Royal Canadian Legion
Royal Canadian Legion Branch 158 Poppy Fund Chair Jay MacDonald, Foundation trustees June Chithalen, Mark Stortini, Janet Hepburn, Kelsey Wallace, Nikki Porte.
We had a great turnout and were able to donate $2,800 to Royal Canadian Legion Branch 158 Poppy Fund!
Port Dover Harbour Museum
Katie Graham, curator of Port Dover Harbour Museum accepts $2,000 cheque from Janet Hepburn, trustee with Port Dover Foundation, for upcoming re-design of Atlantic Exhibit.
North Shore Highlanders
North Shore Highlanders Pipe Sergeant Murray McKnight, Foundation trustees June Chithalen, Paul Beischlag, Kelsey Wallace, Nikki Porter, Janet Hepburn, Mark Stortini and North Shore Highlanders Pipe Major Ian McFadden.
The North Shore Highlanders went home with $2,400 to help in building their pipe band by purchasing instruments for use in teaching new pipers and drummers, with a strong focus on recruiting a young contingent. They are also raising money in hopes of helping with the cost of uniforms.
Canada Day Home Decorating Contest

Dover Show
Thank You Dover Show!
A huge thanks to Adam Veri for donating $2,000 to the Foundation from the proceeds of the "Dover Show” variety show that was held in December at Lighthouse Festival Theatre. The show featured more than 50 Port Dover musicians, actors and volunteers.

In September, 2018, Friends of Port Dover donated $2,100 to the Port Dover Minor Baseball club to help with their planned upgrades and renovations to the Port Dover ballpark.
Mini Putt Classic

We were absolutely blown away with the support for this 1st annual event. It was a huge success and everybody had a great time.
We were able to raise an incredible, $9,500 for the foundation. Thank you so much to all of you who participated. We hope to see you again next year!
Beer Stock

Another amazing and successful year at Beer Stock. The event was sensational and helped raise another $5000 that was graciously donated to the Port Dover Foundation.
